Meg,
I saw your post on Passionate Homemaking about the sits bath with comfrey, oats, calendula, lavender and slippery elm bark. What are the ratios of the herbs to each other?
A friend of mine posted your all natural deodorant were do you buy the ingredients? I would like to try if not too expensive. And finally, Do you have instructions on home made soap that dose not leave a film on you and the tub? Thanks, Leisa
@Leisa Clayton, The essential oils can be found at health food stores, as can the arrowroot, coconut oils, potentially beeswax (depending on how big your store is). Another option is online, through a store like Mountain Rose Herbs, or other places that sell soapmaking ingredients. I’ve bought a lot of my supplies through Azure Standard, the natural foods coops I shop at.
Wish I could help you on the soap, but it’s not an area that I am experienced with. Sorry!
hi-
i am having a really tough time reading the font color as well. but i looove your recipes!! i would have neer thought of the sugar scrub…how brilliant! please email me more ideas! thank you!
I agree about the font colour! I rarely come to this site now because of it. I still love the content though so I do check back periodically.
@Beatrice, I’m sorry to hear that the font is so bad for you. I think it really depends on your particular monitor, because I get very mixed reviews. BUT, I have my designers set to change the colors to something more readable and easy on the eyes (for everyone!) within the next week or two, so please do come back! :)
Hi. I’m a 50-year old Christian Lupus sufferer interested in the GAPS diet. This morning I typed “Christian GAPS Diet” into my browser and your website came up. It looks kind of interesting, but I can’t read it because of the light color of the font. My age and the Lupus are affecting my eyes. Is there any way you can darken the font to make it easier to read?
Sincerely,
Linda Franz

@Linda Franz,
Linda,
I wonder if you could copy text from the blog, paste it into a Word document, and change the color and size of the font to something that you are able to see?
