And on a lighter note…

Apple Juice Gone Bad [7] @ The Simple Mom Podcast, with my dear friend Tsh and Kat of Inspired to Action [8]. When 6 piles of laundry (or maybe a stack of unwrapped gifts?) stare me in the face, I put on a podcast and get to work.

This week…

Honestly, I don’t have much to say. This past week has been tragic and sad beyond belief. I think that all of our mama hearts are hurting, and we can’t even imagine the sorrow and loss of those in Newtown.

I’ll just leave you with this from Ann Voskamp’s post:

You can go ahead and audaciously light your Advent candles because the reality is that the light is so bright that we are blinded by it, that reality is light and we’re really just broken bits of broken darkness surrounded by holy light and even the darkness is not dark to him [14] — and Advent dares proclaim that there’s a way out of this trap – because Christ shockingly stepped right into Satan’s trap – and snapped off his sickening head. {from A Holy Experience [3]}
