Oh, I make resolutions every year, and they're usually broken by Jan 15th. I'm terrible at the "get back on the horse" part. Once I fail, I throw my hands in the air and call it done. This year, as with every year, I'll make a list of things I want to accomplish and hope for the best. I always go in with a good attitude and a plan, and I suppose that's all I can do to start. I just need to quit quitting so fast! Ha ha!

I will definitely make resolutions - I have so many things I'd like to accomplish and having goals help keep me from bouncing from project to project! I definitely agree with your tips - especially not beating yourself up. Another great tip is to get support - maybe it's from a friend or family member - or maybe it's something like signing yourself up for a fitness class so you KNOW you'll do the work. Regardless of how you approach it, support can really help you accomplish your goals!

My two major goals for this year are to get back on my diabetic eating plan, and to quit smoking. Like you said, baby steps.
