Good for you for sticking with your goals. I'm not doing so well at it, but I'll keep trying - self-discipline has always been a weakness, especially in the area of time.
I have a short, humorous post forming in my mind about simply tricks to manage a (very) small kitchen, if you'd be open to me guest-posting here (again)! Happy New Year!

Bottom line, we didn't have the extra time to be spending on the computer, with all that in life was/is going on. So now we're internet free....although we do still check our email every two weeks or so and I still check my favorite site when I get a chance ;o). I'll have to admit, going w/out internet has been a freeing feeling. Although, it is periodically inconvenient! But for now, it was the best decision for us.
That's awesome that there is a timer. If we ever do go back to internet...we will at some point I'm sure...I'll definitely have to get one.

The whole time thing...we got rid of the internet earlier this year in August(gasp!) because of a few reasons, but part of it is time. Thanks for sharing the tiny timer link. I TOTALLY NEED THAT.
Thanks for updating us on how this is all playing out and coming together for you. I look forward to more thoughts on all of this.
I am so bummed to miss Blissdom (again!) this year. I wanted to go so badly, but God made it pretty clear through some financial circumstances that this is not the year to go. I'm trusting His leadership, but I'm still bummed. I know you'll have a blast!

I will press on and get my baby's announcements out as soon as I can...not on some arbitrary schedule. :)

I really, really want to get organized better. I am working on it, but the more help from ideas the better! I hope to be organized before I have another baby. Thats the goal that keeps me personally motivated, since the timing of that is obviously unknown, and I would need to be seriously more organized if I had another child to add to the mix! It keeps me "rushing" to get it done just in case! LOL I am currently setting up my own system for a homemaking binder, sort of an idea that was inspired by the list plan it site, but one that fits my current budget (using what I have= no cost). Its working really really well but I would love more ideas. Also on bulk food storage, especially in small kitchens!!
As for your baby announcement- its really bad but I never did one for my second baby...I was thinking I should do one, but just a copy for us. So that she has one like her sister does, and so all that info can go in one place, remembered. So...you feel bad its been 4 months. I haven't got to it yet and its been a few months longer...! Although I did send out thank yous. I just didn't do the picture thing. Too much going on at the time to manage that one.
Online time- I am also going away so I will be taking a break too. I hope you have a great Christmas time!!!!

Sounds good!
