Help me out, ladies! (Father’s Day surprise- stop reading, Ryan!)

Search & Win

Shhhh... don't tell, but despite a serious lack of cash flow this month, I am working hard to earn a gift for my sweetie anyways!

I'm trying really hard to use Swagbucks every time I search the web, in order to earn enough points to buy my hubby a fun gift certificate for Father's Day. I've got my eye on the iTunes gift certificate, as he just adores buying new music, and maybe an Amazon gift card as well, if I can scrounge up enough points!

So how can you help?

When I refer people to Swagbucks and they sign up through my link, I earn extra points, which I can put towards his gift!

Why would I want to sign up for Swagbucks?

You know, there are a whole lot of really gimicky things on the web. Most of them I avoid. I initially felt the same way about Swagbucks, but when I began reading that many bloggers I "know" and respect were actually earning rewards like gift cards through using Swagbucks, I began to look into it more and it's really legitimate.

The most basic way to use Swagbucks is to simply sign up, and then use it whenever you need to do a google search for something. By using their search engine (instead of just going to google or using the one at the top of your internet browser), you earn points, just for searching! Every few searches or so, you will randomly be rewarded with "Swagbucks". Usually it's a 1 point reward, but sometimes it's 2 or even 5.

Doesn't sound like much, but if you earn several points a day, it can start to add up fast. Suddenly, just by searching for things you would google anyways, you are earning points towards items like Amazon, Starbucks, iTunes or even Target gift cards, plus lots of other options for redeeming your points. How fun is that?

How do I sign up?

If you're interested in checking it out or signing up to earn points yourself, click here to get started!

Happy Swagbucking! And thanks for your help! :)

Do any of you already use Swagbucks? Have you received any rewards yet?

I joined swagbucks a couple of months ago. It wasn’t until I downloaded the toolbar that I really started earning them consistently. I haven’t redeemed any yet. I haven’t decided if I will get some Amazon cards or maybe keep saving for a Target card. Referrals are definitely the key!

I just redeemed points for my first Amazon gift card! I average about 2 to 3 points per day from searches and codes (www.swagcodes.com tracks the codes) so it took me about 2 to 3 weeks to get the $5 giftcard. Totally worth it for just a few seconds of time a day! (I like Google better for searching, but I just punch in a random word several times a day in Swagbucks and usually get 1 buck in the morning and 1 buck in the evening.)

I’m already signed up for swagbucks, but I don’t feel like their searches give me near as good of results as Google does. Sigh. I need to keep going back though, just for the points, lol.

I just joined Swagbucks … hope it helps! I would love to enter your giveaway contest… I keep requesting a DVD from my local library about learning to crochet and the one time my number came up I was too busy to sit down and learn. Isn’t that just how it goes??? I love to knit, but would love to learn crocheting too :) Love your blog! Blessings to you!

Is there a code or something that gives you credit? it doesn’t seem to be asking me for who refered me…
