Among other things he found a bracelet. I can only assume it fell off my 7 yr. old daughters wrist and she didn't know what to do, so she just flushed it.

My husband had to snake our drains this morning. You really don't want to know the things I find around my house, but I'm sure you'll find out what I'm talking about one day. ;)

Well, I have 2 teenage boys and one that is 20. a handheld mixer in his toy basket (a sword, apparently?)
love it,

It drove me nuts that they would seem to vanish. Then along came spring- and time to sort though the toys and reorganise, etc, and what should I find? At least a dozen of my hair clips being used for handcuffs for my son's action figures!

My mini claw hair clips used to always disappear. In my plants, stuck in my cupboards, in the laundry basket, tucked in the bookshelf, inside lamps and even in the sink! It always makes me smile when I find one of these little treasures!
The other thing I find tucked in strange places is rocks. My little guy loves to collect rocks! I find them in pockets (hopefully before they go into the wash, but not always!) and I find them tucked in all sorts of little boxes and hiding places. He loves tiny little nooks and crannies to hide his little treasures! I LOVE being the mom of a boy!

I have a 5 year old boy and around our house I find Nerf darts in the strangest places! Now along with books out of the bookcase, towels on the floor, and magnets throughout the house, we also find:
clean underwear in the cooler on the kitchen floor
brother's water bottle in the laundry basket in the living room
my prayer cards from my bedroom in the summer hat basket
It's going to be a fun summer of hide-and-seek!
:)

When my middle son was about 4 he wanted to begin helping out in the kitchen. While I was ironing he told me he was going to wipe off the kitchen counters. I had no problem with that. I went to the kitchen to see what he had done, he had taken all the dish & hand towels out of the drawer, put them in the sink and turned on the water. Then he put them back in the drawer. Water was everywhere!! He told me that after he wiped the counter he had to do laundry!!
That same afternoon he was pretending to make muffins with playdoh. He told me he had finished them and for me to eat one in about two hours. I said ok. I began to cook supper and turned on the oven to preheat. In about 2 minutes we had a really bad smell in the house, it was the playdoh muffins baking! It took forever to get that smell out of the house and oven!!

I have three boys 8, 15 & 19.
