What to choose, what to choose

by Stephanie @ Keeper of the Home on February 2, 09

I knew that narrowing down the ebook names to the final 8 would be challenging, but I had no idea how challenging! You ladies really went to town on this one and I am a bit overwhelmed with all of the wonderful suggestions! I have over 150 suggestions to choose from, and I definitely, absolutely, positively need an extra day to make my choices!

I promise, I really will have that poll up by tomorrow, but I'm going to take this afternoon to sift through the names some more, rather than make my decision too hastily.

In the meantime, I'm off to get my shopping lists prepared for my first real grocery shop in nearly two months! I am slowly, oh so slowly, moving back towards more regular cooking as the sickness starts to subside a little bit and pockets of energy begin to appear throughout my day. :)

I'm still keeping it simple (see this post for ideas on cooking with morning sickness), but I feel able to make meals of a slightly higher caliber than before. Yay for my husband and children! Second trimester is a a very, very good thing. Can I get an amen?

    Glad you are feeling better.

My husband had to go do all the groceries for me in my first trimester, since smelling and looking at the food would literally make me gag (and feel like throwing up) right there in the store. Not exactly nice for me, or for the other customers trying to buy some food. LOL

Amen, Amen, and Amen! I am so glad to be in my second trimester, too. It is amazing the difference in my cooking motivation between the trimesters. I couldn’t even think about grocery shopping, much less cooking during my first trimester. Now I am back to my recipe experimenting self!

Glad to hear you are feeling better!
