At a recent womens convention in Australia a number of the women I was staying with challenged each other about thankfulness. This was to avoid getting stuck in the wordly perspective of discontentment. Your words are such a blessing to remind me to be focussed on whats important and undeserved but graciously given by God. Thanks.

Thanks for your reminder of what we should be thankful for. You are so blessed to have a church grounded in sound doctrine. Protect it and contend for it. I am going to link to you tomorrow to continue to encourage women to fill their hearts with thankfulness and make their own lists. It is a delight to meet parts of the Body of Christ across borders.

Stephanie, an absolutely beautiful list from a heart that clearly runs over with thankfulness. We were with my hubby's family by my b-i-l's ranch in Meritt. We all bring things along to share though (pre-arranged) so it isn't so much work for just one of us. It sounds like you were busy!
Do you have a church service on Thanksgiving? We had one in the morning. It was good to be reminded that though we need to be thankful for all of our physical things, we need to be most thanksful for our faithful Saviour (your last point above...)

Very nice!
