She always went to the grocery store on Thursdays for her weekly shopping and then stopped by the store for needed small items on their way home from church.
She kept her freezer stocked as well as her pantry.
I always thought going to the store at the same time each week was too constraining but the older I get, the more I see how it works to keep such a schedule (when possible). </description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My mother-in-law never learned to drive.
