Feeds, images, and all that good stuff
I'm so sorry to have to do this to you all, but I have had to create a new feed for my site.
I've been trying in vain to transfer my old feed so that you didn't have to subscribe to a new one, but for whatever reason, it is just not working. I know it's a pain. My apologies.
So, if you enjoy my blog and would like to read it regularly, I finally have a working feed for you to subscribe through, as well an an email option (where emails will be sent out letting you know that I have a new post up).
Here's the link to my subscribe page, where you'll find both options.
For anyone not familiar with the way a feed works, it is basically a way to simply manage all of the blogs that you read. Personally, I use Bloglines , and keep mine organized by category (homemaking, Biblical womanhood, cooking, natural living, etc.). You can't use it to comment or to view archives or other pages on my site, but it's a great way to keep up to date and to be alerted when I've posted.
In other news, I know there are still some issues with this new site. There are still some pages that are coming up with errors, but they are steadily being worked on (yahoo- I finally know how!) and soon they will all be fixed.
As well, all of the images are still broken, but I believe I now know how to fix them, too. It's a tedious task, but at least I know it's possible-- I promise, it shall be done, just as soon as I can do it!
The missing comments are still being looked into, a process that is taking entirely longer than it should be. Thanks, Typepad.
But for tonight, this woman (who spent wayyyy too much time on blog stuff these past two weeks, and way too little time sleeping and enjoying her family), and her husband (who has recently spent way too much time having to work long and late hours, and way too little time getting to enjoy his kids and overly-distracted wife), are going to have a family night.
No computers. No work. No stress. No kidding.
Only fun, with our sweet Abbie (baby Caden is still going to bed at the usual hour). Ryan is out right now, picking up a movie our 3 year old will enjoy (a rare treat in our home), along with some sparkling apple juice and cream to make ice cream in our Vita-Mix. We're going to snuggle up on Mommy and Daddy's big bed, snack to our heart's content, and take in a little girl chick-flick.
Ahhhh...

I just wanted to say that I'm glad you got the feed working again. I read using Bloglines too, and finally checked in last night after not seeing anything
posted from you in a while. Your evening plan sounds great! Hope you all have a wonderful time!!
