A great source for affordable coconut oil (among other things)!

I just wanted to let you know about our newest sponsor, Mountain Rose Herbs! My mother-in-law discovered this company in her search for coconut oil (which she just wrote a great post on, btw).

She and I were delighted to find out that they offer virgin, cold-pressed (unrefined), organic coconut oil, for a very reasonable price (we are going to split a gallon, for $28, plus $8 shipping- if you're unfamiliar with coconut oil costs, that is a very reasonable price!). They also carry non-food grade coconut oil for even less (which is a wonderful moisturizer, and I bet Lindsay has homemade beauty product recipes that use it!).

What most impressed me about this company is the lengths to which they have gone in order to promote sustainability, fair trade, and environmental stewardship. It is so encouraging to me to see a company having such integrity in every aspect of how they function!

It is a good price, isn’t it Lindsay? :) I was so excited, because coconut oil is one of the items that I struggle to fit into the budget!

I also order a lot of other oils for making different body products, lip balms, shampoos etc.
Their prices are quite reasonable and their service is excellent.
