Jill at The Diaper Diaries posted about magazine subscriptions on for ridiculously cheap at Amazon. Great prices to start with, plus an extra $5 rebate until the end of December!
I just checked it out and there is a good selection of magazines that would appeal to many people. I am strongly considering them for gifts for many of my family members, and it will save me on shipping expenses, too, since my family all lives far away! Plus, it's so fun to give a gift that continues all year long- personally, I love magazine subscriptions!

My only caveat is that some of the magazines covers are not appropriate for children (they are not terrible and most are just fine, but some are inappropriate enough that I felt I had to mention it), so use your discretion when looking.
